this message goes for cindylily, She said she wrote Waka Waka song as She did, She only borrowed the chorus, everyone knows and many times Shakira has emphatized "tsamina mina eh eh waka waka eh eh tsamina mina zangalewa anawa ah ah, Tsamina mina eh eh waka waka eh eh Tsamina mina Zangalewa " is one part of the song by Golden Sounds, she has said its a song from cameroon and believe all of us here in America Know.
She could have said She wrote the song as she wrote the rest of the song, " you're a good soldier......" thats from her work

Waka Waka
cindylily, you need help. I just played Zangalewa by Golden Sounds and it is a completely different song. Obviously Shakira was influenced by many cultural sounds including Africa's to write Waka Waka but she did not copy any song. It is original and is fantastic as usual.

Hi, Shakira, I know you are a great singer but you have made us your fans in Cameroon to be disappointed in you.
You said in a press conference that you wrote the song "Waka waka". What a lie.You took the song from the Cameroonian singers Golden sounds from their hit record "Zangalewa".Everybody knows that.
You claim the song is all about integration so give respect where it is due.
What a shame!

South Africa!!
Thanks for coming to South Africa! We love Waka Waka!! and even though the world cup is over, we still listen, sing and dance to it daily!
The kick off concert and closing ceremony was Amazing; and we are really proud :)

Rocked IT
She really rocked the staged twice in South Africa with her performance of Waka Waka.
She looked great both the times and gave a fab live performance. Her CONTROL over her voice during performance is incredible.
She didn't disappoint me in her first concert in which she also performed 'She Wolf' and 'Hips Don't Lie.' Absolutely Stunning.
