Shakira`s MTV Unplugged album was recorded acoustically in New York on August 12th 1999. The album led to her first Grammy Award (for Best Latin Pop Album). It was produced by Emilio Estefan Jr., featured music arranged by Tim Mitchell and sold more than 5 million copies worldwide.
